Award-winning author and journalist Mara Leveritt and cofounder & Deputy Director of Proclaim Justice Jason Baldwin will discuss their book Dark Spell: Surviving the Sentence, and talk about the most recent developments in the West Memphis murder case that garnered national attention. Leveritt, author of Devil’s Knot: The True Story of the West Memphis Three, will be joined on stage by Baldwin, who survived eighteen years on death row before being released as part of a plea deal in 2011.
