The Chamber is pleased to welcome Ms. Erin Brockovich as our featured speaker. Ms. Brockovich is a well-known consumer advocate, author and television host. As president of Brockovich Research & Consulting, she is currently involved in numerous world-wide environmental projects.
She was a key player in a lawsuit in California that forced a utility giant to pay the largest toxic tort injury settlement in U.S. history at that time. This was the principal storyline in the movie Erin Brockovich in which she was portrayed by Julia Roberts.
Because of her fighting spirit, she has become the champion of countless women and men and is one of the most requested speakers on the international lecture circuit. She is truly an American hero whose icon status and “stick-to-it-iveness” fuels her determination to expose injustice and to also lend her voice to those who are facing adversity.
